Lessons Learned

So far, the most interesting part about our project is that we have a chance to learn more about our topic and our community. I have never really known a lot about our topic or our community, so going out and learning with friends is a lot of fun especially when I'm doing my favorite thing. Filming. I love going around the community, filming interview, getting b-roll, and all types of other things.

The biggest roadblock my group had was editing. Only one of us knew how to edit so she had to teach us how to edit. On the 30th, our final project is due and on the 25th, Maddie (our seventh grade leader) is not going to be there. She will come back but after the due date i think. So she is trying her best to teach us how to do everything we need to know in case we have to do any last minute changes.

The most valuable part of film making is the editing. Editing will help us cut the video down so its not boring. We cant only cut our videos down to three minutes or less. Our video is about 14 seconds over the time limit but we can fix that. I know that when Maddie leaves we will be ready because she is a good leader.
