Lessons Learned

So far, the most interesting part about our project is that we have a chance to learn more about our topic and our community. I have never really known a lot about our topic or our community, so going out and learning with friends is a lot of fun especially when I'm doing my favorite thing. Filming. I love going around the community, filming interview, getting b-roll, and all types of other things.

The biggest roadblock my group had was editing. Only one of us knew how to edit so she had to teach us how to edit. On the 30th, our final project is due and on the 25th, Maddie (our seventh grade leader) is not going to be there. She will come back but after the due date i think. So she is trying her best to teach us how to do everything we need to know in case we have to do any last minute changes.

The most valuable part of film making is the editing. Editing will help us cut the video down so its not boring. We cant only cut our videos down to three minutes or less. Our video is about 14 seconds over the time limit but we can fix that. I know that when Maddie leaves we will be ready because she is a good leader.

Hiki No Behind The Scenes

For our G.T. class, we are doing  a project for Hiki No, a t.v program produced by students like us. Me and my group's topic is about health and obesity. We have filmed a few times together but we still need more footage. We have some b-roll but not all of it yet. So far all of are interviewees have been giving us a lot of information and we appreciate.

When we are not filming we are always researching about our topic. We have have found many facts about health and obesity. We have also been thinking of questions to ask our interviewees. One more thing we have been working on is what we are going to say. We have just barely started but I guarantee we will finish very soon.

To help my team I will try to correct any questions or anything we write down to make it sound better. I will also try to make it to as many interview as I can. I will try my best to help out my team with anything they need. I know that we will all try to help each other as much as we can. We will do our best on this project.
